For Balhers that never traveled to Brazil or any place outside of the United States or their homeland. Here are a few travel tips

• find your passport or put in an application to apply for your passport. This web site provides
  information to help you.
• if your doctor has you on a prescription be sure to have more than enough medicine to stay
  healthy.
• remember it's always safe to bring extra money. So start saving extra money to cover
  misc. expenses.
• In Brazil, people speak portuguese and english. However, it's a good idea to practice
  a little portuguese.
• If you plan to bring a camera, camcorder, or another be sure to buy your film, memory
  disk etc. before you leave. Do not casually buy these items while in Brazil. The prices
  are higher after you get off the plane.
• If you plan to travel to Rio de Janeiro, but the Balhers Travel Clubs schedule does not
  fit into your schedule ... learn which areas of Brazil to avoid to keep things safe
  
• remember that BTC is a "mens club". So if you have any questions remember that
  your girlfriends and wives do not travel with BTC.
