Samba is several things and has different meanings, but mainly it's the national dance of Brazil. Officially it's
known as a Brazilian ballroom dance of African origin. However, the actual dance involves navel thrust or touching
belly buttons while dancing. Samba Schools exist during carnival with the goal of being the best school.
Samba also refers to the music. Many people enjoy the music of Samba, but it's more popular to those who inhabit
the inner-city districts of Brazil.
